Course summary

Develop knowledge about society and how sociologists study. Understand society's structures, processes and issues such as social inequality, explanations of poverty, the role of education and the impact of sociological theory on social policy. Sociology is exciting, interesting and relevant to students' lives.

Entry requirements

At least eight GCSEs grades 9-4 All students must also have achieved a minimum of GCSE Grade 5 in English Language OR English Literature. Grade 6 in GCSE English Language OR English Literature OR GCSE Grade 6 in Religious Studies OR History.
