Why Study History? The main reason for studying History in the Sixth Form is an enjoyment of the subject. You should have an interest in the past and a desire to discuss issues. The skills required by the course are for students to be able to argue a case, both orally and on paper, and to be able to analyse evidence and draw conclusions from it. You should enjoy the opportunity of studying a variety of historical periods.
