Course summary

We study English to share our love of the English language and to provoke critical and independent thought through a deep appreciation of the written and spoken word; to find within ourselves the ability to empathise, communicate, create and thrive beyond the classroom. We explore the human experience by examining, considering and challenging the values and morals reflected in stories, plays and poetry throughout history, from the greatest minds all over the world. From this bedrock, we act as guides to culture the core values of morality, empathy and resilience.
