The intention of this course is to take you on a philosophical journey that human kind has undertaken since the beginning of recorded history. That journey will attempt to offer solutions/explanations for many of the unanswered questions that humans still strive to answer today. Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where are we going? Did something create all of this? Is there a God? How do I know what is right and wrong? Here is an opportunity to pit your wits against some of the greatest thinkers the world has ever known; from Plato to Dawkins.
• 5 pass grades at GCSE • 5+ English GCSE • The philosophy, ethics and theology learnt at GCSE underpins all of the modules in the course. Whilst it is not required to have passed RS GCSE, the knowledge gained, questions asked and discussions held will be very useful.
• Philosophy of Religion • Ethics of Religion • Development in Religious thought
