Course summary

"This course will provide you with a strong academic background in many areas of the English legal system, looking at how laws are made and passed through a parliamentary process. You will explore criminal law including how fatal and nonfatal violence is dealt with, sentencing powers and negligence. You will explore the structure of the courts and how legal personnel function in this framework as well as looking at deeper concepts of morality and justice.
