Year 1: • Germany and West Germany 1918 - 89 (30% exam) • Rebellion and Disorder under the Tudors 1485 - 1603 (30% exam) Year 2: • The rise and fall of fascism in Italy 1911 - 46 (20% exam) • The Causes of the Russian Revolution 1917 (20% coursework) A Level students will study four units, which will include several country’s history, covering a 200 year period. PROGRESSION ROUTES: A good grade at A Level History is recognised by all universities as a facilitating subject for entry into a wide range of undergraduate disciplines and courses. The skills of analysis are invaluable in many jobs, and the ability to analyse and then prioritise information is vital to decision making. Studying A Level History also provides graduates the opportunity to enter into a wider range of occupations, including within law, journalism or education.
