"This course develops skills and knowledge in the study of ideas in art, the refinement of ideas through use of tools, materials and visual/tactile language, recording of observations and the realisation of art. Through exploration and investigation of their experiences pupils identify potential for art, develop and realise personal outcomes. They are encouraged to take creative risks to gain new insights and breadth of skills.
