This subject is the study of “life” You will have an exciting insight into the contemporary world of Biology. You will learn about the core concepts of biology and the impact of biological research and how it links to everyday life.
A LEVEL - In order for students to study A Level courses, they will need the following:- An Average Point Score of 5.5 or more at GCSE Level, including at least a grade 5 in GCSE English Language and at least a grade 5 in GCSE Maths. To do this subject you need to get the following GCSE grades in the named subjects: Science: 6/6 or 6 in Biology and one other science if studying triple science. You will also need to be good at: Literacy, ICT, reading, independent work, numeracy skill, practical skills and discussion work
