Course summary
The UK is regarded as a world leader in engineering fields such as renewable energy, space, aerospace, creative industries, automotive and civil. This course allows learners to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required for progression into a range of roles within the industry using relevant software throughout the course. Students will gain a thorough grounding in engineering theory and principles, putting these into practice through classroom experiments, industry visits and university partnerships. The Project (Unit 3) integrates the knowledge and skills gained and translates this into a major piece of work which could be a product, device or service.
