Pure mathematics builds on the algebra and trigonometry work you would have done at GCSE but introduces calculus into the mixture. An A-Level in Mathematics is extremely useful in a multitude of fields. In the second year, you will be assessed by three end-of-year exams. Both papers will be 2 hours long and assess content from both years of study.
