Course summary

Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) is an AS level equivalent that is 100% coursework. It is studied as a one-year course in Year 12. It is a qualification that is highly regarded by universities due to the skills it develops in students. Often, having an EPQ will lower university grade requirements by a grade. EPQ can only be chosen as a fourth subject. Students work with a mentor to guide them through the project rather than specific timetabled lessons. The specification taught is: OCR Level 3 Extended Project Qualification.
