Must attain five 9 - 5 grades in full course GCSE subjects including Maths and English Language or Literature. No vocational subjects allowed to count in the five 9 – 5 grades. Indivdual subject critera also applies. At least a 6 in Geography GCSE and at least a 5 in both English (Lang/Lit) and Maths
Composition of qualification: 80% Exam (Paper 1 and Paper 2) 20% Non-examined Assessment Questions (per paper): 4-mark questions; 6-mark analysis; 6-mark application; 9-mark questions; 20-mark essays
