It is also the study of ideas, and how individuals have shaped political systems. Must attain five 9 - 5 grades in full course GCSE subjects including Maths and English Language or Literature. No vocational subjects allowed to count in the five 9 – 5 grades. Indivdual subject critera also applies. English Lang/ Lit – 5, Maths – 5 At least a 5 in either History or Geography GCSE
Composition of qualification: 100% examination at the end of Y13. X6 30 mark essays X2 24 mark essays (political ideologies) X2 12 mark comparative questions
