This course is ideal if you would like to work in the social care sector. It allows you to build on the skills and knowledge you have accumulated on the first year (Diploma 90) of this course. From here you can progress to one of our degree courses that are accredited by either University of Greenwich or Canterbury Christchurch University. 4 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (A*-C), including English and Maths, or a Level 2 qualification (Merit or Distinction) in a related subject. Note: for skills-based qualifications you might need the skills at Level 2 in order to enrol onto the Level 3.
• Assessment is by course work and assignments, which are both internally and externally assessed • You are required to attend college and a work placement in care homes youth settings, nurseries, schools, rehabilitation centres and nursing homes
