An A-Level qualification in Religious Studies is very advantageous and can help you progress onto a wide array of Higher Education courses. This course places a significant focus on the study of the key beliefs, practices, and history of Islam. Over the course of this AS/A-Level, you will study the Muslim idea of God, the importance of the Quran, and beliefs about heaven and hell. You will also explore how Muslims have dealt with a broad range of moral issues.
A minimum of 6 grade 4s, including a grade 4 or above in GCSE English Language, is required. GCSE Maths must also be at grade 3 as a minimum. If GCSE Maths is at a grade 3, you would have to resit it.
This course will be assessed by three end-of-year exams. In addition, there will be regular exam question assessments in order to prepare you for the exam.
