These are: • Development and Practical Skills in Physics • Foundations in Physics • Forces and Motion • Electrons, Waves and Photons In year 13 there are two additional modules. These are: • Newtonian World and Astrophysics • Particles and Medical Physics
At least a grade 6 at GCSE Physics or at least a grade 6-6 in Trilogy Science. Students should have a good understanding of Mathematics, so a grade 6 in GCSE Mathematics is required.
Modelling Physics Paper: 100 marks, 2 hours 15 minutes Exploring Physics Paper: 100 marks, 2 hours 15 minutes Unified Physics Paper: 70 marks, 1 hour 30 minutes Practical Endorsement: Assessed internally over the two years
