Law is an academic and rigorous course that requires a high level of analysis and problem-solving together with an excellent memory. The volume of case law and statutes that need to be learnt and applied fluently is extensive; the capacity to do this is important to the course requirement. The course is linear which means that you will sit all your exams at the end of the two-year course. There are three 2 hour papers with equal weighting. The assessment currently consists of short answer and extended writing questions (evaluative and scenario-based). We have links with university Law departments. Our students have gone to many fine institutions to read for degrees in the subject.
