Level 1 pathway: majority of GCSE grades are 2s including grade 2 in both Maths & English Language required for this pathway. Level 2 pathway: fewer than 5 x grades 9-5 with the majority of GCSE grades are 3s including minimum grade 2 in both Maths & English Language required for this pathway.
Assessment is mainly through coursework. There are ten pieces of coursework and two external exams. Additional study: students will have the opportunity to study GCSE English and Maths depending on previous results.
