Physics at Range is delivered by highly experienced and enthusiastic specialist staff who are committed to helping students reach their full potential. You will be encouraged and supported by your teachers through a course which promotes increased independence and academic rigour. A range of extra curricular opportunities is available to Physics students:  Visits to lectures /workshops at local universities.  The Nuffield Bursary scheme allows students to spend the summer working on real research projects at Liverpool University.  The most academic students compete in the prestigious Physics Olympiad, run by the Institute of Physics.  Y12 and Y13 students have also had the opportunity to visit Cern Particle Physics Research Faculty in Geneva.
