Business Studies offers you an invaluable insight into the wide world of work, from the point of view of a number of stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, managers and workers. You will be able to investigate real-life businesses and analyse the many reasons for their successes or failures. The course will also give you opportunities to develop a wide variety of skills such as team work, communication and presentation techniques. In the applied context of business investigations you will also develop your abilities in decision-making and problem-solving.
Please note, where Business has not been taken at GCSE, students will be considered with a Grade 6 in both English Language and Mathematics.
