Range Sixth Form Art Department is made up of a number of well qualified, practising artists who can each offer their own specialist area of expertise. You will work within a vibrant, stimulating environment, which has its own Gallery area. Students will also have the opportunity to work in our new Creative Hub. The Mac suite houses ten new Apple computers along with MacBook Airs. Our photographic editing resources support students to improve practice, promoting employability within the Arts.. You will also have access to a good range of specialist art materials and cameras. The aim of the course is to extend your existing creative skills. You will also develop your ability to work independently and to communicate and express your ideas through a variety of visual skills.
Please note that due to the practical nature of Art, students will be considered on an individual basis where they can evidence high achievement at a practical level, even if they have not taken then subject at GCSE
