Three Dimensional Design
Course summary
Students studying 3D design at A level can choose to study this subject university or art college. Some students complete a Foundation Course in Art and Design, before choosing their subject at degree level. This is a one year full time course which follows A levels, which allows them to explore the full range of options which are available. If a student is under 19 years at the commencement of the course, there are generally no fees to pay.

Assessment
The A Level comprises of 2 components: • Component 1 - Personal Investigation, worth 60% of the qualification • Component 2 – Externally Set Assignment, worth 40% of the qualification. • Students will complete a personal study (essay) as part of Component 1, which is worth 12% of their overall grade. 15 hour practical examination.
