Candidates of French build on the knowledge, understanding and skills gained at GCSE. The skills of listening, reading and writing are integrated in the development of linguistic competence. There are 3 unit assessment components. This course aims to inspire students linguistically, culturally and socially so that they are able to discuss and write about a wide variety of topics related to the countries in which the language is spoken.
