Course summary
A LEVEL FRENCH, GERMAN AND SPANISH German, French and Spanish all follow the AQA syllabus. Topics covered are: aspects of the society of the target-language speaking countries: current trends and issues aspects of political life in the German, French or Spanish speaking world artistic culture in the target-language countries. In addition, all students study a novel and a film. Assessment The content is taught over two years. At the end of A2, students sit three different papers: Paper 1 Listening, reading and writing 50% of A Level Paper 2 Writing on one film and one text 20% of A Level Paper 3 Speaking on individual research project and one aspect of German, French or Spanish speaking society 30% of A Level All students are supported in acquring a wide range of grammatical structures and relevant vocabulary.
