This course is particularly suitable for those wishing to pursue arts-related degree courses and for those wishing to pursue a career in the theatre, film or television.
Students wishing to pursue an A Level programme must, in all but exceptional circumstances, have achieved 6 standard GCSE passes (grade 4-9), with a strong pass (grade 5 or higher) in at least 4. Students should also attain the subject-specific minimum grades in subjects relevant to those to be studied Grade 5 in English Literature and/or English Language. Grade 5 in Drama preferred, but not essential. In total, at least grade 5 in two literate subjects.
