The course is designed to extend students' resourcefulness in solving problems and their grasp of mathematical reasoning.
Students wishing to pursue an A Level programme must, in all but exceptional circumstances, have achieved 6 standard GCSE passes (grade 4-9), with a strong pass (grade 5 or higher) in at least 4. Students should also attain the subject-specific minimum grades in subjects relevant to those to be studied Grade 7 in Maths. Grade 4 in English Language. NOTE: Students who wish to take 2 or more from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths & Further Maths will need at least one grade 7 in a relevant science or Maths
