Course summary

Examinations cover all 4 language skills (listening, speaking reading and writing), except in Arabic. Arabic is only available as an additional (non-taught) subject at Key Stage 5. AS Urdu: Unit 1 – Spoken Expression and Response (30% of AS, 15% of A2). Unit 2 – Understanding and Written Response (70% of AS, 35% of A2). A2 Urdu Unit 3 – Understanding and Spoken Response (35% of AS, 17.5% of A2). Unit 4 – Research, Understanding and Written Response (65% of AS, 32.5% of A2).
