
During the course you will: Acquire the background key theories that will govern all aspects of your working practice and everything you do as an early years educator. Learn about the theories and models of development that explain how and why children develop. Look at children’s development of speech, communication, language, literacy and numeracy skills. Understand the responsibilities of a professional and pro mote and maintain health & safety. You will also complete 60 hours of work placement in an early years setting.
Units are assessed through coursework, controlled assessments and written exams.
