This course gives a fascinating survey of all the main areas of Chemistry • Organic - The chemistry of carbon compounds. • Inorganic - The chemistry of metals and non-metals other than carbon. • Physical – The study of heat changes and rates of reactions. Linear - 2 year A level. OCR Chemistry A Content overview Module 1: Development of fundamental skills in Chemistry (integrated throughout whole course) Module 2: Foundations in Chemistry Module 3: Periodic table and energy Module 4: Core Organic chemistry Module 5: Physical chemistry and transition elements Module 6: Organic chemistry and analysis The course involves both theory and practical activities and makes use of Information and Communication Technology.
