Course summary

This course consists of: Paper 1: Creative Explorations in Reading and Writing 1 hour 45 minute examination 80 marks 50% of total GCSE grade Paper 2: Writers’ Viewpoints and Perspectives 1 hour 45 minute examination 80 marks 50% of total GCSE grade Non Exam Assessment: Spoken English One teacher assessed presentation, lasting around 3 minutes, followed by a questions and answers on the topic in question. This qualification can be carried forward from Year 11. Students will receive a separate grade for this Non Exam Assessment.
