YMCA Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing - The purpose of this qualification is to enable learners to develop the knowledge and skills so they can engage, facilitate, educate and support clients in a gym or health club environment. Completing this qualification allows learners to access Gym Instructor jobs. Units include: - Anatomy and physiology for exercise and fitness instructors - Providing a positive customer experience in the exercise environment - Lifestyle management and health awareness - Gym-based programme planning and preparation - Gym based programme delivery and professional instruction BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Sports Industry Skills (Leading Children's Sports Activities) - This qualification is for you if you want to start a career in leisure working as a children’s sport activities leader. It is designed for post-16 learners and can be taken as part of a wider study programme. It is an ideal qualification for learners intending to progress to employment in leisure either directly or via an Apprenticeship.
