The principles of government, the ideas of politics, the debates over policy, and the circumstances which have led to the political situation we now find ourselves in are all explored. Students learn to analyse the policy decisions that hit the news and start to assess the strengths and weaknesses of politicians. In addition, students examine the ways in which political ideas have changed over the years.
