This course is for students who want to continue studying French after GCSE. It will suit you if you enjoy languages and want to develop your understanding of French culture and society. GCSE Grade 7 in French or Grade 6 in consultation with Head of Department.
There will be 3 exams at the end of the second year. Listening, reading and writing will be a written exam of 2 hours 30 minutes. Writing skills will be examined through a written exam of 2 hours duration and speaking skills through an oral exam lasting 23 minutes.
