The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diplomain Health and Social Care is an in-depth study of health and social care and supports progression to higher education or apprenticeships within the sector. The course covers aspects of knowledge, understanding and competency necessary for employment within the sector. Health and Social Care professionals work in direct care, such as nurses, social workers as well as specialists such as health scientists, technicians, supervisors and managers.
