
This course aims to help people who would like a Functional Skills qualification in Maths who have achieved a Grade 2 or below in their GCSE Maths. Improving knowledge of Maths will help students get jobs, gain promotion and generally improve their skills in the workplace. You will have the opportunity to: Learn or improve your basic number skills Work with measure, shape and space Use the four rules of numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages Use a calculator Use and interpret charts, graphs, tables and statistics Develop problem-solving skills
Grade 2 or below achieved in GCSE Maths
There is one exam with two parts (calculator and non-calculator). Functional Skills exams can be taken at regular times throughout the course, when you are ready.
