What will I learn? 1. Applied anatomy and physiology 2. Skill Acquisition 3. Biomechanical movement 4. Sport psychology 5. Sport and society. 6. Contemporary issues and the role of technology in physical activity and sport - 70% of total A Level. 7. Practical performance in physical activity and sport — 30% of total A Level
GCSE PE Grade 4 and above or Distinction in Level 2 BTEC First Certificate in Sport will be considered on a case by case basis.
Physiological factors, Psychological factors and Socio-cultural factors are assessed through 2, 2 hour written papers which students will sit at the end of Year 13.
