A Level Sociology

Course summary

A Level Sociology explores social institutions and groups in society. We look at a range of contemporary issues including changes in education in the UK, migration, and global crimes such as human trafficking. You will develop skills of analysis and evaluation as well as transferable essay writing skills. Students should be able to sustain writing in longer, significant pieces of work for homework, classwork and examination and be able to confidently and clearly express ideas verbally.
