Course summary

Potential destinations – areas of work, undergraduate courses and apprenticeships. Product Design has links with Science, Engineering, Art, Business Studies and Mathematics to name a few as it contains many transferable skills such as communication, analysis, problem solving and evaluation. This broad base of skills enables it to mesh well with most subjects and so allows students to consider a variety of areas for future study or work. Universities offer a wide range of courses that follow on from these, of which the following are a short list. Architecture, Theme Park Design, Product Management, Graphic Design, Engineering Design, Marketing, Product Design, Interior Design, Film and TV, Point of Sale Design.
