Course summary

Psychology is the 'scientific study of the mind and behaviour' and taking A-Level Psychology will give you a good grounding in this diverse and far-reaching subject. During Year 12 you will study a range of topics which consider different facets of human behaviour: Human Memory, Social Influence, Approaches in Psychology, Psychopathology, Attachment and Biopsychology. In Year 13 you will study the topics of Schizophrenia, Relationships, Addiction and Issues and Debates. You will also study psychological research methods across the two years which will involve developing and applying your research and mathematical skills in designing and conducting psychological research.

Entry requirements

Grade 4 or above in GCSE Mathematics Grade 5 or above in GCSE Science
