This subject involves the study of sociological thought and methods. It allows for the integration of sociological themes, such as socialisation, culture and identity, and social differentiation, power and stratification. Students would be expected to think critically about how society develops and how the people in our society change. Students will be required to study key sociologists’ work and evaluate how successful the work has been at explaining society.
