Course summary

Physics is a practical thinking and reasoning subject, and physicists claim that “there is physics in everything”. We use the basic ideas – matter, force, energy to explain almost every aspect of our world, from the smallest part of our bodies to the great clusters of galaxies. Competence in mathematics is as important for the correct handling of physical concepts and models as the physics itself, so it will really help if you study A Level Mathematics as one of your other A level options.
