Course summary
This course is only available to students who have studied at The Heathland School for their secondary (high school) education. BTEC Applied Science focuses on a wide range of vocational science skills through carrying out practical work to learn key theoretical concepts in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The vocational aspect of the course enables students to develop links between theoretical science and science within the workplace. The 2 year course is equivalent to 3 A Levels. All students will complete work experience as part of the programme.
