Course summary

Chemistry provides an important background for students who wish to study a technological, engineering or scientific subject at a higher level of work in a related level or work in a related field. It is a pre-requisite for all University courses into medicine. Studying Chemistry provides you with a range of skills and knowledge that are highly valued by employers in all sectors and in lots of different jobs. You will also be taught the skills to perform practical work that will allow you to deepen your understanding of the chemistry concepts covered in the course.
