L2 Sport BTEC
Course summary
This course takes a multi-disciplinary approach, encouraging the development of different methods of enquiry, with the focal point being the performer and the performance. This course is based on the interaction between the theory and practice of Physical Education. What next? This course will provide a good background for vocational courses, in particular the Level 3 BTEC in Sport. The course also provides students with the ability to practice their coaching and leading of others in sporting activities which is useful for a variety of roles. Assessment
The BTEC Sport course is assessed by 2 online exams, and a number of coursework based assignments for the optional units. Students will require an ability to organise their learning showing the ability to meet deadlines.
