AQA A Level Drama and Theatre inspires students to become independent theatre makers with the skills they need to go on to higher education, whether that is to study a course in drama and theatre or another subject. This qualification emphasises practical creativity alongside research and theoretical understanding. Students learn through experience, seeing theatre and making theatre for themselves.

At least 5 GCSE passes at Grade 4 or higher including English Language and Mathematics. GCSE Drama or English Literature Grade 6. It is important that you are interested in gaining a greater understanding of how theatre and play work, and are keen to be involved in performances.
