These are the cultures that have influenced our modern Western world and this makes their differences only more fascinating. You will study a wide range of literature spanning many hundreds of years and examine the material culture - the art and architecture - giving you the opportunity to build an informed picture of the classical world from the earliest Greeks to the formation of the powerhouse that was the Roman Empire.
At least 5 GCSE passes at Grade 4 or higher including GCSE Mathematics. GCSE History, GCSE English Literature, GCSE English Language or Religious Studies Grade 6.
