Course summary
A-level PE is perfect for students who want to develop their own personal sport within a rigorous A-level course. The theoretical aspects of the course look at applied anatomy and exercise physiology, biomechanical movement, skill acquisition, sport psychology, sport and society and the role of technology in physical activity and sport. A-level PE will also develop students’ knowledge and understanding of their own practical performance, ensuring effective and efficient performance. If you play sport to a high level and want to develop a greater understanding of your sport and how to improve your performance, then A-level PE is for you!
