Course summary

This course is ideally suited to students who have an interest in the geographical nature of the world in which we live. Geography is a diverse A-level covering themes from human geography and contemporary natural issues such as global warming and a broad interest in such themes is essential. The topics that we cover are high on the government’s agenda as environmental issues become ever more important for society. Successful students often move on to study degrees in business, economics or geography. There are also many routes into employment and apprenticeships, such as quantity surveying, from this demanding A-level.

Entry requirements

In addition to the general Sixth Form Entry requirements students will need the following: Grade 5 in Geography and English
