Course summary

English Literature is an A Level that will open many doors. Through reading a range of literary texts, you will develop close analytical skills and your own interpretations of texts. You will be challenged to voice your own opinions, develop more critical thinking and produce written responses in a formal manner. Studying English Literature gives you the chance to delve into worlds that you cannot exist in and explore the lives of people that you never dreamed were possible. It provides opportunities that bring the past to life and the future to reality.
