GCSE English Language Re-take

Course summary

Those students who are accepted into the sixth form and have narrowly missed passing English at GCSE with a Grade 5 will be required to resit the subject as part of their Sixth Form study programme. It is critical that students manage to achieve a Grade 5 in both mathematics and English before leaving sixth form education as this demonstrates the basic standards of literacy and numeracy that are required for almost all paths of further study.
